Finally! My first BLOG CANDY!

Congrats to KIM!

I cannot believe I've had 10,000 hits already! When I decided to revamp my blog and try it again in January, I never thought I'd even reach 10K, let alone this year... but I've met so many fantastic friends and artists along the way, it wouldn't matter to me how many hits I have really. Anyhow, this seems like a good time to celebrate. I've just finished my first Design Team assignment with MSB, have been invited to stay on at Digiments, and will be announcing a new assignment soon! Plus, I won Alma's blog candy today. Soooooo, without further adieu, here's what's up for grabs!

I hope you likey! There's an unmounted SU Oh So Lovely (retired), Kelly Panaci frames set, unmounteds from Verses, Starving Artists, PaperMakeup and High Hopes, Kiwi Kiss ribbon & courdoroy buttons, Prima felt flowers, ribbons from Offray, Michael's and others, the Swiss Dots CB folder, funky photo corners, Bradwear alphabets, Basic Gray rubons, Scenic Route rubons, 2 K&Co tubes of glitter, Martha Stewart red gemstones, Doodlebug Easter embellishment kit, rub on tape runners, K&Co felt embellishments, Making Memories summer themed brads...and a big stack of images from my ever growing swap stash (I really need to weed it out LOL).
1. I will ship worldwide, so anyone can play.
2. Please post a link to my candy on your blog...side bars are just fine with me! Feel free to use a pic if you like, but please save to your computer first. Don't forget to leave me a link to your post or blog when you make your comment here.
3. Leave a comment on this post and recommend a GREAT book for me to read this summer...I like romantic fiction with lots of substance (not a Harlequin).
4. I would love for you to become a follower, but only if you truly want's not necessary to win the candy.
5.Only 1 entry per person please...winner will be chosen by on Monday, August 10th, so entries are open until 11:59 pm Sunday August 9th, Atlantic Standard Time (Halifax, NS, Canada if you need to check).

Thanks for playing! Good Luck to everyone!

Congrats! Awesome Candy, thanks for the chance to win! I would definitely recommend the Other Boleyn Girl or anything by Philippa Gregory, she's an amazing writer.

Congrats on your 10000 hits and on winning the starvingartistamps new release...can't wait to order them myself! I've posted about your candy on my own blog here

And, while it is not romantic reading, I'm reading the series of books that started with Eragon. On the last one now. Was definitely a good read. Think I might tackle Twilight next to see what all the ruckus is about.

Congrats Anita on hitting 10k hits on your blog. Woo Hoo! I am a follower now. Thanks for the chance to win some great blog candy and love your cards! It's on my blog now too.

As for a book. I don't have a lot of time to read anymore but I just finished Mommywood by Tori Spelling and it was cute and quick. I enjoyed her first book too. I loved the Sisterhood of the Traveling pants set. And I'd like to read He's just not that into you someday.

Hey Anita! What great blog candy...and 10,000 go girl!

I recommend you read the Twilight Series if you haven't already....I just finished the 4th book (I read all 4 in 5 days) and I'm already missing the characters. Can you hear my heart go pitter patter? I think I'm going to read them again right away. LOL!

Headed over to my blog:

to add a link to my sidebar.

Hope your summer is going well.

Well I am not a big romance reader, but I just got done with Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. As far as I am concerned, this is a must read. And there is a bit of romance in it, but not your typical boy meets girl stuff. It's deeper and more complex... and messy. Ok, going to try to figure out how to link to this post of yours. I am new to blogging.

Well done on all the hits. I don't really read romantic fiction so I'd suggest just grabbing a book at random with an interesting title (I've found some great books that way)

okay - I forgot to leave the bit about the book --- so I deleted and am re-posting!!

{you silly goose - OF COURSE you'd hit this number - you post Terrific stuff!}

Here's my link:

I am so happy to have gotten to serve with you on MSB. And look forward to your announcement - any team is LUCKY to have YOU!!

Good book - Earlier this summer I picked up 2 books at the library - they are a series, written by Ginny Aiken. I enjoyed it immensely. They weren't a traditional styled romance and were centered around Christ-like living and had humor, adventure and some budding romance all in one. It was a read that I enjoyed!

and the 2nd in the series:

I need to get the 3rd!!

I just finished reading 'Sunday's and Tiffany's' by James Patterson. It was a really good book. Very light easy read, but still a good book.

Great blog and congrats on all the hits!

I blogged about your giveaway in my blog at:

I don't really read romantic I'll just tell you my favorite book. It's called Under the Overpass by Mike Yankoski. It's non-fiction based on the authors 5-6 month experience of being homeless. I found it very thought provoking, challenging, but inspirational all at the same time.

Going to go follow you now.

Anita ~ Congrats on all your visits! What a wonderful bunch of goodies you are giving away to celebrate ~ I would definitely have fun with all this! I've linked your giveaway on my blog (right side column). Thanks for the chance to win :)

I read so many books that I can't even begin to remember the names, but lately I have been reading all of Diane Mott Davidson's "Goldie" books (cooking mystery) along with a lot of "chic lit" thrown in. Next on my list is the Twilight series once my neighbor gets back the first book she loaned out.
